Click on the Online Catalog link on the home page. At the log in screen, simply type in “Appleton Library.” There is no password necessary. Once there, you will see the following:
Welcome to the new online Catalog for the Appleton Library! Input keywords in the box above to Search the collection. You can search by Author's last name, a word in the title, the entire title, even by ISBN number.
For example, I can search for Charlotte’s Web. Just choose “title” in the menu on the right (drop down arrow like a v next to magnifying glass icon.) Click the magnifying glass, and if the library has the book, it will pop up with the call numbers, in this case F WHI (Fiction, White).
When you find a book you want, click the box on the right, “Add to Clipboard.” This is like your online bookbag.
You can continue searching for other books by deleting the title you’ve selected and adding another one. Or you can change to search by author or keywords.
When you are finished, go back to the Clipboard icon on the left, and you will see the books you have chosen and their call numbers. When you come to the library, you’ll know where to find them, or ask your friendly librarian.
