Free Stop Motion Animation Week Workshop

This workshop is funded by a grant from the Maine State Library. Space is limited and the registration deadline is June 15.

 

 A $25 refundable deposit is requested to reserve your spot in this workshop.

 

Prior animation experience is not required! Learn how to create animated movies using your iOS device. An introduction to the user-friendly software and basic concepts for animating cut paper characters, creating motion and making characters speak. We will also explore the basic concepts for creating line animation, object pixelation and claymation.

 

** It is not required but if you have an iPad you can bring to the class, that would be great! **

 

About the Instructor:

Deb Vendetti is the librarian at the Appleton Village School and part of a teaching team for the early language readiness program. She holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing; graduate studies in Photography. Deb has conducted award-winning animation workshops since 1991 at the Farnsworth Art Museum; Maine Coast Artists and Round Top Center for the Arts.
